What in the world is going on?!?

This is a totally random post...........but what in the world is going on right now? Seriously!!!

Usually Morgan will sleep through the night like a champion... Well, ever since she decided to flip over and sleep on her tummy that is. And don't say "turn her over on her back" because she won't stay in that postion for anything now that she knows how to roll herself over. Believe me. That ship has sailed!

Anyway....my point is that all of a sudden at 11:30pm, Sophia woke up fussing. I don't know if she was hungry, bored....(teething) or just woke up thinking she could play with Mommy all by herself. The fact is, she never wakes up at this time. Usually, Rachel is the one who wakes hungry at that time because YES... I do feed her at 11:30 whether she is awake or not. (In my defense...she's only 13 pounds and to be over six months old and 13 pounds...well she's just small!) Also,  I discovered that was the only way to get her to sleep the rest of the night (until 6am ish anyway). Back to my point... Sophia woke up. I "tried" to let her cry it out to go back to sleep because everyone keeps telling me to have them CRY IT OUT!

OH YEAH? REALLY?

And what did that do you ask?

IT WOKE THEM ALL UP!

WIDE AWAKE!

I'm tired!
I caved... I fed them hoping that would get them nice and relaxed and back to sleep. Did it work?

NO!!!!

As I type this (in my bed exhausted)...they are all awake playing and cooing in their cribs. This is completely an unusual night. They are all teething though... Tylenol has been given. Maybe that is why.....

Either way... This is going to be a long night! I can feel it!

Babies sleeping 12 hours????..... URBAN MYTH!!!!! (I'm too fragile so please don't tell me any different!)

(Update.... It's now almost 12:30am and they are all sleeping again.) Whew!

Our new home

As you all know, I've decided to move the blog to this fresh location. I'm not going to go into a big long history of our story since pretty much anyone reading this now already knows. However, for some new readers I might get from my postings on other websites.....Here goes.

Bob and I were married in 2006. Who knew that three years later we'd have three beautiful baby girls?!! After a pretty rough pregnancy that included 13 weeks of bedrest and medication, I delivered the girls at 35 weeks and 1 day....which is pretty darn amazing for triplets. Sophia and Morgan came home from the hospital with me 4 days later. Rachel was a teeny tiny so she stayed in the NICU for 12 days to grow and learn how to drink from a bottle. We had a pretty hectic first six months, but I think I can say we're settling down..........for the most part. We have our easy days and we defintely have some hard days, but our girls are so darn cute that any hard day is completely worth it.

I can't believe my babies are almost 7 months old. Time sure has flown by. I'll be posting updates very soon. We have lots to talk about!

Feel free to enjoy the ride!

Side note...The old blog site has been set to private. If you are pregnant with triplets and want to read about my pregnancy, please let me know and I may send you an invite....if I know of you!
